The current policy of our school is to encourage children to use Welsh as a secounda language in oral form through out the day. They also see the written word on displays and through access to Welsh books in our libary area.
Children's awareness of Welsh music, heritage and culture, is raised through a vairety of first hand expierences.
The children are encouraged to dress up in Welsh costume for our St David's Day celebration and occasionally we have welsh assemblies.
Religious Worship and Educations
Throughout the Nursery day aspects of RE is provided for all pupils. It is mainly Christian and of other faiths where appropriate.
Experiences in the Foundation Phase should encourage children to communicate their ideas, values , belifes, about themselves, others and the world.
Know that each person is different but understand that all equal in value.
Have opportunities to consider and evaluate their own behaviour and that of others.
On Mondays we have special time at the end of the day where children come together to have a story / discuss things / sing and a time where we can reflect on a various issues.
