Pastoral Care
It is of paramount importance to the Headteacer and Staff of Cwmbach Nursery that children in our school are happy and safe at all times.
The arragement for pastoral care of the pupils are as follows;
The teaching staff are responsible for the welfare of the pupils in their care.
The Headteacher has overall resonsibility for Pastoral care and matters of concern are reffered to her.
Absences
It is important that your child attends school regularly and should only be take out of school if it is absolutely necessary.
All children's attendance is monitored and reported to the LA regularly. If a child's attendance is cause for concern, the HT will discuss this with you to see if there any issues we can help you with.
Parents are asked to inform the school on the first day of absence if their child is unable to attend school. On return to school a letter of explanation of any absence whether trhough illness or holiday is needed for school records.
It is important too, that children arrive and leave school on time.
