Parental Involvment
When a child enter school for the first time, parents are requested to sign a Home / School Agreement.
Parents are encouraged to help their children with activities sent home e.g. planned home tasks which may be a part of each tersm's theme.
Please try and read and talk bou the pictures of your child's book chosen from the lending libary.
Parents are welcome to speak to the class teacher or Head teacher if they mave any cnoncerns about their child. although it would be advisable to make and appointment first.
The school is involved in Family learning Projects called Lanuage and Play and Number and Play. Theses sessions take place throughout the school year and parents are invited to attend with their child prior to starting school.
Currently they run ona Wednesday afternoon from 1.45pm- 2.45pm and are part of our Link Up Policy for New Entrants. Mrs Clee and Mrs Underwood take these sessions so the children begin to form relationships with staff members and become more familiar with the school enviroment.
