For safety reasons the only jewellery allowed in school will be stud ear-rings ( one pair )
Medical guidelines
We have been advised that no member of staff is to administer medicine of any kind. ( The only exception are Asthma inhalers. These must be clearly labelled and given to the Headteacher with full instruction for use) You are welcome to come to school to give your child medicine but please keep him/ her at home if they are unwell.
Illness / Accidents
If a child is taken ill at school we will normally ask the parent to collect their child. The school should be able to contact a parent at all times. Please ensure we have up to date telephone numbers for home and work.
In case of accidents, first aid is give where appropriate. In serious cases parents are contacted, but if urgent medical help is needed, we would ring for an ambulance and contact parents immediately.
