Children are admitted in to our nursery after receiving approval of their admission form from the LEA.
Not all new entrants are admitted on the same day and a phased intake is arrranged. Children must have atteneded their third birthday before they can be admitted.
Any child who transfers in to the catchment area must have approval from the LEA through a mid-term admission form beacuse they can start school.
Before your child enters the secound year of nursery you are requested to fill in a form once more, which will be send out to you at an appropriate time for you to fill in and send to the LEA for approval.
During the intial visit to school the parents/ guardians of the new entrants are asked to supply us with all relevant information regarding their child. Birth certificates are checked, health and social arrangements.
When you child leaves the Nursery of the Lower Foundation Phase Unit they will have the opportunity to visit thier their new classroom on a different site and meet staff.
Parents are also invited to a visit where brochures are distributed and information given out.
